THE LYRICRIG WORKFLOW

One set. Four ways
to get it ready.

Music moves from preparation to personal practice, into the room with the band and out onto the stage. LyricRig follows that path with four distinct workspaces.

01

Backstage

Prepare the songs. Shape the set.

02

Practice

Find your own flow.

03

Rehearsal

Bring it to the band.

04

Stage

Keep the lyrics in view.

01 / PREPARE

Backstage

Put the material in place.

Before you sing the first line, give the set a shape. Backstage is where you prepare songs and setlists, bringing your lyrics and the order of the music into your preparation.

  • Organize the songs and lyrics you will work with.
  • Prepare setlists for the session or performance.
  • Prepare synchronized lyric cues as part of the material.

The aim is simple: start the next session knowing what you are working on.

02 / WORK ON YOUR OWN

Practice

Get familiar with the words.

Practice is for practising independently. Use this part of the workflow for your own preparation, with the lyrics and songs at the centre of the session.

This is the time to work through the material at your own pace and build familiarity before you bring it to other musicians.

Practice focuses on your individual preparation. Rehearsal is the next context: working through the music with the band.

03 / WORK WITH THE BAND

Rehearsal

Put the songs in the room.

Rehearsal is for rehearsing with a band. It places your lyrics and setlist preparation in the context of a full-band run-through.

The focus shifts from learning the material on your own to playing it together. The prepared songs and set remain the foundation of the session.

Rehearsal centres on the band session. Stage carries the workflow into performance.

04 / PERFORM

Stage

Keep the lyrics in view.

Stage is the workspace for performing with your lyrics in view. The preparation has led here: songs ready, setlist prepared, words available for the moment you are in.

Controller-based navigation and MIDI-related controls are established feature areas in LyricRig. See the Features page for the scope of this product preview.

Practice is individual preparation. Rehearsal is band preparation. Stage is performance.
